Own the Eights by Krista Sandor

This book was so cute! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one because I was feeling just kind of “eh” about the plot. But I shouldn’t doubt Krista because she most definitely came through for us on this book. I did think that the book started slow and I really disliked Jordan to begin with. He was such a shallow douche and I didn’t see anything redeemable about him. I also thought that Georgie was a bit naive. Though I did definitely get into the book as soon as the mystery of the Dannies started to flesh out and the competition became more between the characters.

Can I also say how I loved that Georgie’s girl squad were literary characters? I think that was totally awesome. Not that I’ve read Jane Eyre but it’s on the list. The three of them never let her stray but they did think that birkenstocks were a good idea so what do three fictional women know anyway. I do have to say I agreed with Jordan’s point of view on those sandals. They are just plane ugly. Anyway this book definitely made me want to improve my blog. Which is something I should do but honestly, I don’t have the time at the moment. I am looking forward to seeing what else Krista comes up with for this series. I loved the ending and thought it was the best of both worlds.
