Erik by Sawyer Bennett

As you are soon to notice I am working my way through the Arizona Vengeance series. Though if you follow me on Goodreads or Pinterest you’ve already seen that I’ve been reading them. Anyway, Erik is one of the main group of four players that includes Bishop that we meet in the first book. He is clearly a playboy who just wants to have fun but would never actually hurt someone. That is a little hard for Blue to come to terms with since she was hurt by him. It’s great to see their first interaction in the first book since Blue is the flight attendant for the team plane and she is not falling prey to Erik’s charm again.

I liked that this book really provided a deeper story for Blue. In the book her brother has cerebral palsy and that plays a huge role in the storyline. It gives Tacker a reason to connect with the team and it really allows Erik to show that he isn’t a terrible person. I liked that it provided more backstory for both of them but it also gave a deeper continuing story for the following books. I also liked the ending of this one better. It was less abrupt than Bishop and gave more for the reader to look forward to. Don’t miss out on this whipped playboy!
