Seduced in Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan

Published: September 29, 2020

This was my first ever Montgomery Ink book and I’m pretty sure I’m hooked now. If you’re a reader of my blog you should know that I love a good fake fiancé romance and a friends to lovers romance. In this one Madison tries so hard to stand up to her parents especially her mother but can never really get a word in with her around. And her father is no help at all even though he has to deal with her moth all the time. Aaron just knows that he couldn’t stand by and watch her mother tear her apart so he came up with the fake fiancé story only no one really believed it. At least not until they started seeing the two of them together and they could really sell it. Probably because they actually had a crush on each other other and neither of them were willing to admit it. Which was great because her mother wanted to arrange a marriage to just an awful person named Guy. Honestly, though I think any reader who has read their share of romance novels knew where the storyline with Guy was going and while it was well written and good we all saw it coming. Or at least I did. But it was the necessary climax of the book and made the ending so much smoother and sweeter.

So I want to say I need a man who will read romance novels. Like that is my ultimate goal in life but unfortunately, Aaron Montgomery isn’t a real person and so far all men have fallen short of the book boyfriends. It’s a real struggle. I do want to say that I read this book fairly quickly and if I didn’t have a busy review schedule at the moment I’d be reading the other books in the Boulder section of the series right now. You don’t need to read the other books to enjoy this one though. It is delightful all on its own. Don’t miss out on it!
